Located in South Florida, Singer Island is really a peninsula, not an island like its name suggests. The city, which was named after the Palm Beach developer is filled with various accommodations – such as Singer Island rentals –, over 4 miles of stunning beaches, bike paths, hiking and marinas. It is also offers a wide array of activities for the entire family.

Manatee Lagoon

A wonderful place to learn about manatees, Manatee Lagoon Is a free educational attraction that features viewing areas so visitors can see these majestic aquatic mammals up close. Their EPL Eco-Discovery 16,000 square foot center offers hands-on exhibits that engage visitors and make learning about these endangered sea cows fun and exciting. Rapids Water Park

Known as South Florida’s largest water park, Rapids Water Park features 30 acres filled with various attractions. Thirty-five of the best water slides all packed into one park for a day filled of non-top fun. Rapids Water Park has something for the whole family. If you want a thrilling ride, plunge down one of the many water slides. If, however, relaxation is what you’re looking for, float along the lazy river while the kids tackle the water slides.

Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society

Housing more than 550 animals, the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society is more than a place to see wildlife from around the world. Instead, it is a learning attraction with various interactive activities, shows, performances, a restaurant, animal feeds and trainings and even the chance to meet the zookeepers who take care of the animals. The Pam Beach Zoo is located on Summit Boulevard.

Lion Country Safari

This long-standing attraction, which opened in 1967, is the only drive-through safari in Florida. The safari features over 1,000 animals and includes a walk-through amusement park. You will also find various feeding experiences, animal displays where you can learn more about the wildlife and water spray ground, as well as places to shop and grab a bite to eat. Lion Country Safari is located in Loxahatchee Florida, which is about 30 miles from Singer Island.
